Asia-James is a UK-born, Berlin-based multi-disciplinary artist who has used the nightlife scene as a stage for her creative work over the past decade. Her career in music as a singer-songwriter, performer, and actress led her to have a deep interest in the mystique of Berlin nightlife, which encouraged her to learn more about producing and DJing. She’s been a long-standing figure on the party scene since the age of 17 and has been booked regularly since as a door personality at underground parties. This is an area that became a big part of her life and continued in her move to Germany. Asia is now one of the best-recognized door girls in Berlin. Since the pandemic, she has made regular appearances at parties in cities worldwide. Nightlife runs through her veins and she is driven by her love of music and people but most importantly by the desire to increase visibility for her community and to bring change to an arena usually dominated by men.
